The scenic rim offers our riders a little taste of everything and is perfect for those who want to get off the beaten track.

DAY 1 Distance: 57 - 83 km Altitude gain: 496 -1084 m
Byron Bay to Uki – Luscious rolling hills and large mountainous peaks welcome you as you ride from the coast into the Byron Bay hinterland. Enjoy a delicious lunch at Crystal Castle, followed by a challenging ascent over Mt Jerusalem with expansive views back towards Cape Byron.
DAY 2 Distance: 104km Altitude gain: 1573 m
Uki to Binna Burra – Soak up the spectacular views, cultural and creative landmarks and the abundance of natural beauty on today’s ride north.
DAY 3 Distance: 57-81km Altitude gain: 1547 m
Binna Burra to the Green Mountains – Savour an easy downill to the valley floor. Challenge yourself to an optional climb up Mt Tamborine. Enjoy a delicious lunch before commencing a stunning, yet relentless climb into the a world heritage national park known as Lamington National Park. Enjoy an afternoon walk to the highest areas of the park, containing pockets of Antarctic beech forest, isolated since the last ice age.
DAY 4 Distance: 123 km Altitude gain: 731 m
Green Mountains to Mt Lion – Experience an exhilarating descent from the crest of the green mountains into the dry arid plains of South East Queensland.
DAY 5 Distance: 80 km Altitude gain: 931 m
Mt Lion to the Channon – Embrace a tough day of riding with three ranges of hills to negotiate, the views and the wild landscapes that you will experience make it very worthwhile.
DAY 6 Distance: 65 km Altitude gain: 565 m
The Channon to Byron Bay – Cycle your way along quite back roads through small villages towards the golden shores of the most easterly point of Australia
